Eastern Regional Pool Champs 2025

Our club took part in the Eastern Regional Pool champs in Gisborne over the weekend. We had over twenty athletes in the junior and senior categories. For many it was their first time competing in a pool champs!

The Whakatāne Surf Club fielded more than twenty athletes across senior and junior categories at the Eastern Region Pool Championships in Gisborne over the weekend. For many, it was their first time competing, and the atmosphere was filled with smiles and excitement. Athletes achieved personal bests, collected medals, and gained valuable experience—making it a successful outing for the entire team. Thanks to coach Simon and Sherrie Thompson for all their organization and support!
